As w3r’s Director of Business Development for Advanced Analytics, Carolyn Ball enjoys providing services that help clients address organizational challenges and shape departmental vision. She is highly analytical and a critical thinker who is motivated by a natural inclination to solve problems and produce results.
With more than 15 years’ experience consulting for the highest levels of management, Carolyn’s primary goal is to help businesses grow and prosper by providing data-driven insights that foster improvements in all operational areas. Using data science and advanced analytics, Carolyn assists executives close gaps in annual budget and revenue goals by extracting hidden value from their organizations’ existing data storehouses.
Carolyn joined w3r in 2010 as a member of the company’s delivery team that conducts a range of analyses on diverse subject matter. While part of that group and aided by her experience in mergers, acquisitions and logistics, Carolyn discovered more $80 million in hard savings for her healthcare clients.
Moving from delivery to sales at w3r, Carolyn currently applies her natural affinity for customer relationship management to finding answers within data pools that eliminate inefficiencies and solve organizational challenges. Her main priority on each client engagement is to combine advanced analytic methods with her extensive business and technical experience and knowledge to help clients overcome stagnant operating concerns and maximize revenue generation opportunities.
Carolyn graduated Magna Cum Laude from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, and received a Master of Business Administration degree from Wayne State University. Prior to joining w3r, she was employed by Plante Moran Corporate Finance and Stroh’s Logistics. Carolyn also enjoys the time she spends with her three children, passing along family traditions and instilling a strong work ethic in them.
