JoAnn Mackie has been an asset to w3r Consulting since she joined the firm in 2007. A proven sales professional, with an award-winning track record in IT staffing over the past 20 years, she brings a wealth of skills and experience to her role as w3r’s Vice President of Sales, a position to which she was promoted in 2014.
She is currently responsible for leading the company’s regional teams, which are comprised of account, employee development, and delivery and project managers. Her duties include maintaining positive relationships with key clients’ purchasing representatives and vendor relations personnel, and developing management strategies for all accounts. JoAnn is a mentor to her staff, helping to maximize their effectiveness and prepare them for future career advancement.
JoAnn is also the primary point-of-contact for a portfolio of major clients that include automakers and suppliers, financial institutions and healthcare insurers. While serving as w3r’s lead executive at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, she expanded the firm’s reach into BCBSM’s non-IT staffing sector and doubled account revenue from $7.8 to $16 million. JoAnn built such a strong relationship with the company that w3r received BCBSM’s 2013 Diverse Supplier Achievement Award.
What’s more, her ability to discern customer needs enables w3r to identify and address clients’ business challenges and has resulted in the application of innovative solutions in multiple situations. In addition, JoAnn’s clients see her contributions as more than consulting services, but as a “value add” for their enterprises.
JoAnn earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Wayne State University. She enjoys golfing and attending sporting events and is married with two children.
