SOUTHFIELD, MI – w3r Consulting, a best-in-class talent, data management and analytics, and enterprise consulting services provider, is honored to sponsor the 12th Annual Michigan Chronicle Men of Excellence Awards. The award celebrates the vision and leadership of African American men throughout the Detroit metro area who make a difference in their professional roles, their communities, and their day-to-day lives. This year, w3r has the added distinction of Executive Vice President Keith Echols receiving recognition for his role on our leadership team and as a business and community leader.

Men of Excellence honorees come from various backgrounds and fields, but all exemplify extraordinary qualities that make them indispensable to the fabric of the city of Detroit. Each honoree is recognized for his ability to inspire others and champion positive growth in his life. In 2019, 50 new honorees will join the prestigious ranks of previous Men of Excellence award winners, adding to the list of exceptional achievements these men make in the Detroit community and beyond.

As a 2019 Men of Excellence Awards honoree, Keith Echols holds various distinctions in the local community. He has been a member of the w3r Consulting team since 2001 and has helped guide the company through various stages of organizational maturation. In his role as Executive Vice President, he has driven adaptation to ongoing market changes and fostered the expansion of w3r’s staffing and recruiting services into healthcare.

In his personal life, Keith sets a stellar example as the Executive Pastor of New Beginnings Community Church (a Detroit-based non-denominational Church), a leader within several community based non-profit services organizations, and a father to his two daughters. He embodies the spirit of the 2019 Men of Excellence Awards.

“Keith is an incredible man and a vital part of the w3r Consulting family,” said Eric Hardy, President and CEO of w3r Consulting. “He’s inquisitive, hardworking, strategy-minded, and principled. We’re lucky to have him as part of our organization and the Chronicle Men of Excellence honorees are lucky to have him among their number.”

The achievements of Keith and the 2019 honorees will be showcased at the 2019 Men of Excellence Awards Induction Ceremony on Friday, August 2nd, 2019 at the Motor City Casino Hotel. The reception begins at 6:00pm and is followed by the induction ceremony at 7:00pm.
