How We Showed Our Gratitude in the 2019 Holiday Season

1

Happy New Year! It’s 2020, and our people are excited to support clients and consultants pursue their 2020 goals. Yet before we dive into exciting new projects and objectives, the w3r team wanted to reflect on 2019 and those who made it an exceptional year. So, here’s a recap of the people, partners, and communities that helped us prosper – and how we showed them our full gratitude.

Giving to the Community

The role Detroit has played in the story of w3r Consulting cannot be overlooked. Through the networks and resources made available through the Motor City (and the NMSDC), we’ve had the chance to deliver our services to a national clientele. We do not take those opportunities for granted. As business leaders, it’s our responsibility to pay our good fortune forward and help our community to rise up along with w3r.

This year, we gave back during a visit to the Children’s Center of Detroit. If you’re not familiar with the organization, the Children’s Center is dedicated to treating and healing children, and their families, as a whole. Our team members came together on December 11th, volunteering to wrap presents for local children in need of a little holiday spirit. It was good knowing that we brought a little cheer to our neighbors.

Thanking Our Partners

We began this holiday season spending a memorable night, dressed to the nines, with many of our treasured clients. On December 4th, a wide variety of current and former clients made their way to the Detroit Golf Club to join us for a night of food, drinks, music, and memories.

One of our longest standing traditions is bringing these local leaders together, showing our gratitude for trusting us to provide top talent solutions, data management and analytics, and enterprise consulting services. The celebration is always a delight – and this year was no exception.

Whether they were dancing, chatting around the fire, or listening to Keith spin a few tracks as a guest DJ, everyone clearly had a great time. Anyone who didn’t have a chance to enjoy the savory appetizers or delicious beverages (Spanish sangria and sake-bombs) missed out. And though the night itself was overcast, everyone drove (or Ubered) home in bright spirits, thanks to an incredible evening.

Appreciating Our People

Where would we be without our hardworking and resourceful people? Our consultants and employees are an indispensable part of our success story. Through their creativity, innovation, and commitment, w3r Consulting has grown considerably and overcome challenges that overwhelmed other organizations. As part of our tradition, we brought our internal staff, their significant others, and key supporters of w3r Consulting together to celebrate our shared success.

On December 20th, we gathered the team at the Shinola Hotel for an unforgettable night. Before the festivities began, our executive team took the time to thank everyone for their hard work in 2019 and years prior. With our 25th anniversary weeks away, it was a particularly empowering moment for the members of our team. Then, the party began.

Guests enjoyed drinks and a dinner buffet with selections ranging from bacon-wrapped king prawns to roasted lamb chop. As usual, many of our people took to the dance floor, showing off their moves to great tunes. At the end of the evening, we made sure that everyone receive a personalized gift and an additional thank you for all of their effort and expertise over the years.
