The Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) recognized Eric’s entrepreneurial achievements and his commitment to elevating tech professionals and aspiring leaders in the community at their symposium on May 5th.

For more than 28 years, Eric Hardy has put his entrepreneurial spirit to work, collaborating with Patrick Tomina and Keith Echols to build an IT solutions and staffing team capable of evolving with an ever-changing world. Eric has demonstrated integrity, accountability, and discipline in his decision making, striving to help business customers, consultants, employees, and community members to achieve their goals. As a result, w3r Consulting has grown into a nationwide technology and solutions provider well on its way toward becoming a $100 million enterprise.

“Recognition from the ITSMF is an honor I do not take lightly,” said Eric Hardy. “Their commitment to creating an inclusive business environment, where exceptional professionals can accomplish their visions and build a rewarding career, aligns with my own values.”

This year marked the 2nd Annual Technology Leaders Awards and Gala, showcasing a variety of driven and innovative Black technology leaders. The symposium signified a “reboot” for the organization and their goal to celebrate fresh perspectives, renewed energy, and vigorous commitment. All awards nominees reflected the revitalized direction of the ITSMF.

Since their beginning in 1996, the ITSMF has made it their mission to contribute to the expansion of Black leaders across senior-level technology positions. By advocating for greater representation in the professional space, ITSMF aims to also forward innovation and growth. The organization provides opportunities and programs to nurture and develop dynamic leaders with the intent of creating greater diversity, equity, and inclusion today and tomorrow.

“The work the ITSMF does in the community is admirable and essential, and we look forward to attending next year,” said Eric. “Thank you to those who nominated me for this award and those who made this year’s symposium so memorable.”
