SOUTHFIELD, MI – w3r Consulting, a best-in-class talent, data management and analytics, and enterprise consulting services provider, is proud to announce their selection as one of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan’s 14th Annual Supplier Diversity Achievement Award winners. Through their contributions to a successful Informatics environment project used for analytics and reporting, w3r earned recognition among this year’s noteworthy nominees.

The award winning project began in early 2018, bringing together members of the BCBSM, w3r Consulting, and Accenture team to launch a cloud-based analytics and reporting Informatics environment serving the health insurance company’s Specialty Rx practice. Through this collaboration, Blue Cross has been able to quickly run analytics to evaluate trends reducing delivery time by eight months and avoiding project costs through use of new technologies. Since the initial launch, the team has expanded into 11 analytics units and 12 active projects that are now a foundational component of the organization’s overall IT strategy.

“We pride ourselves in our ability to deliver the highest quality, data management and analytics services to our clients in a timely fashion,” said Eric Hardy, Chief Executive Officer of w3r Consulting. “Through our long-running partnership with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, we take particular pride in not only receiving this award, but knowing that our alignment with their organization yields strategic results.”

Eric and members of the w3r team received the award at the 14th Annual Supplier Diversity Achievement Awards, held in Detroit’s Whitmer Auditorium on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. They were honored alongside a range of diverse suppliers from across Michigan, the best and brightest in their specialty areas.

“Through the use of new technologies and valuable partners like w3r and Accenture, Blue Cross has been able to build better solutions to meet our business needs,” said Richard Boehm, IT Director of Information Management and Provider Systems at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. “We look forward to continuing our work together and further building on these successes in the future.”
